Senior Backend Developer (Rust)
We are looking for a talented Senior Backend Developer (Rust) who is interested in building the future alongside us.
Role & Responsibilities:
The Senior Backend Engineer will work with a team of experienced Software Engineers. You will have autonomy and support in solving real problems and creating a better product with each addition. It is a broad role in which you will:
- Develop embedded microservices and libraries
- Develop connectors to exchanges
- Taking part in building the project architecture
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle and own your code: develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve
- Code review and encourage good engineering practices within the team, ensuring the codebase is clean, readable, well-tested, and maintainable
- Work in small, autonomous teams with short-release cycles
Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years of backend development experience, including any compiled programming language
- Commercial experience as a developer on Rust
- Experience in developing asynchronous applications
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Docker
Nice to have:
- Experience setting up Gitlab CI
- Experience with REST, WS, JSON-RPC
- Experience with AWS, Kubernetes
- Experience with RabbitMQ or other brokers
- Interest in front-end development (Vue, Typescript)
- Understanding of the subject area — trading (exchanges, brokers, investments), operations with currencies (conversion, exchange, banking)
- Interest in the topic of cryptocurrencies and fintech
