Senior Backend Developer (Rust)

We are looking for a talented Senior Backend Developer (Rust) who is interested in building the future alongside us.

Role & Responsibilities:

The Senior Backend Engineer will work with a team of experienced Software Engineers. You will have autonomy and support in solving real problems and creating a better product with each addition. It is a broad role in which you will:

  • Develop embedded microservices and libraries
  • Develop connectors to exchanges
  • Taking part in building the project architecture
  • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle and own your code: develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve
  • Code review and encourage good engineering practices within the team, ensuring the codebase is clean, readable, well-tested, and maintainable
  • Work in small, autonomous teams with short-release cycles

Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of backend development experience, including any compiled programming language
  • Commercial experience as a developer on Rust
  • Experience in developing asynchronous applications
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Docker

Nice to have:

  • Experience setting up Gitlab CI
  • Experience with REST, WS, JSON-RPC
  • Experience with AWS, Kubernetes
  • Experience with RabbitMQ or other brokers
  • Interest in front-end development (Vue, Typescript)
  • Understanding of the subject area — trading (exchanges, brokers, investments), operations with currencies (conversion, exchange, banking)
  • Interest in the topic of cryptocurrencies and fintech
