Clapp Referral Program Terms and Conditions

The Clapp Referral Program (the “Program”) is operated by respective Clapp Group entity (“Clapp”, “we”, “us”). These Program terms supplement the Clapp Terms of Service. Terms defined there have the same meaning here.

1. Definitions

“App” means the official Clapp iOS or Android application. The Program is not available on any web interface.

“Referrer” means an existing, KYC-verified Clapp user who shares a personal invite link or code from the App.

“Referee” means a new user who installs the App via the Referrer’s link or code.

“First App Open” means the UTC timestamp of the Referee’s first launch of the App.

“Reward” means a one-time credit of 20 USD (in USDT equivalent) paid to the Referrer’s Clapp USDT wallet.

2. Territorial Scope

2.1 The Program is open only to persons who, at the time of First App Open, are physically located in one of the jurisdictions listed in this Section and are eligible for the Clapp services under the Terms of Service.

2.2 Eligible jurisdictions:

2.2.1 Subject to applicable regulations, Group 1, EEA and Switzerland: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland.

2.2.2 Subject to applicable regulations, Group 2: New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Singapore, and South Korea.

2.2.3 Subject to applicable regulations, Group 3: Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates.

2.2.4 Subject to applicable regulations, Group 4: Panama, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina.

2.3 We may add or remove jurisdictions at any time. The current list is shown in the App.

3. How to Earn a Reward

3.1 A Reward is paid only if all of the following are satisfied:

1. The Referee passes Clapp KYC with “verified” status.
2. Within 30 days of First App Open, the Referee (a) deposits at least 250 USD (or the crypto equivalent) and (b) buys any crypto asset and creates at least one portfolio; the funds must be held in a portfolio, not in the wallet.
3. Each portfolio created under (2)(b) is maintained, without a full exit or withdrawal, for at least 30 consecutive days (the “Holding Period”).
4. Exactly one Clapp account is associated with the Referee’s physical device.

3.2 The Reward is credited no earlier than the first business day after the Holding Period ends. If the Referee sells or withdraws early, fails KYC or misses any deadline, the referral is void.

4. Program Timeline

4.1 The conditions in Section 3.1(1) and (2) must be met within 30 days of First App Open. The Holding Period in Section 3.1(3) runs for 30 days from portfolio creation. Rewards are paid only if the Referee’s account remains in good standing at the time of payment.

5. Anti-Fraud Rules

5.1 If the same device appears on more than one user ID, all related referrals are automatically rejected, the affected accounts may be flagged, and we may suspend or claw back Rewards.

5.2 Automated, bulk, fake-identity, emulator or VPN-obfuscated installations are prohibited. Referral links must be shared personally and must not be presented as official Clapp advertising. We reserve the right to audit and disqualify any participant at our discretion.

6. Payment

6.1 Rewards are credited only in USDT to the Referrer’s in-app USDT wallet balance.

7. General Eligibility

7.1 Participants must be at least 18 years old, legally permitted to use the Clapp services in their jurisdiction, and in compliance with the Terms of Service and all applicable laws, including AML/CTF, sanctions and tax laws.

8. Amendment, Suspension and Termination

8.1 We may modify, suspend or end the Program, or any user’s participation, at any time, with or without notice, including for suspected fraud, abuse or technical error. Changes become effective upon posting within the App. Rewards properly earned before a change remain payable.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the Program. Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the value of Rewards legitimately earned but unpaid to the affected Referrer.

10. Taxation

10.1 Reward recipients are solely responsible for reporting and paying any taxes that may apply. We may withhold amounts where required by law.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

11.1 These Program terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Disputes are resolved as set out in Section 18 of the Terms of Service. By participating you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Program terms.
