Important notices.
Registration of a money services business with FINTRAC is an anti-money laundering registration. It does not mean that FINTRAC endorses or approves the business or its products, and it is not an investor protection scheme.
No Clapp group company currently holds an authorization as a crypto-asset service provider (CASP) under Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 (MiCA), a registration with the UK Financial Conduct Authority, or a license from the US federal or state authorities. Services within the scope of those regimes are not offered to residents of the relevant jurisdictions. Availability by country is shown in the Clapp app.
Savings and Credit Line products are lending arrangements provided by Clapp Finance Limited. Crypto lending and borrowing are not regulated under MiCA and are not within the service categories covered by the FINTRAC registration. These products do not benefit from MiCA safeguarding requirements, deposit guarantee schemes or investor compensation schemes.
Euro accounts, IBANs and SEPA payments are provided by partner electronic money or payment institutions authorized in the EEA. Clapp cards are issued by licensed card issuers. The identity of the partner institution serving you is shown in the Clapp app together with its terms.
